Whistle Worthy Wednesday!

Standard

Hey guys, it’s been quite some time since my last WWW so I thought I would make this one extra fabulous for you. Now, I rarely trust people that have two first names (I’m talking to you Meg Ryan), but when the two names are the same, they cancel each other out….right?

Phillip Phillips.

Many of you have probably heard his song “Home” on every commercial ever made ever, but his new album released on November 19th is FLAWLE$$.

When P2 first came onto the scene after his win on American Idol, I was definately diggin’ his boyish grin and just-woke-up-from-a-nap hair, the voice was just a plus. THEN, this week I was looking for a way to spend my Christmas iTunes gift cards and came across his album.

Holy. Smokes.

There is not ONE bad song on this entire album. Not one. If I had to pick favorites, I would have to say “Gone, Gone, Gone”, “Get Up Get Down”, and “Man On the Moon”. I now have a special Phillip Phillips playlist on my iPhone. Holler at me.

Happy Whistling!

Olivia.

New Year, Same Me.

Standard

Ok guys I know. I’m a joke. Why are you even reading this right? I literally have not blogged since last year, it’s pathetic.

Since the last time that I talked to you, I have been really quite busy. And I’m not even just saying that so that I can appear that I have a life, I really have been busy. SURPRISE! There is hope.

Here are my top 5 things that have happened to me since we last spoke:

5. Went on a cabin vacation with my friends. It was one of those things that I will never EVER want to do again (staying in a cabin for 3 days with 15 people and 15 personalities and 15 sleep schedules and 15 bad habits and 15 voices), but it was fun this once.

4. Seeing my family. Though by the end of my vacation I’m sure my mother and I were both sick of me yelling, “MOM!” through the house, it was very enjoyable. I also got to see my extended family which was a real joy! This is my dad winning game night…a Christmas miracle!

3. Daisy.

2. This chicken pot pie that my mom made. Extra corn. Duh.

1. THIS RYAN GOSLING MUG THAT I GOT AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FROM MY BEST FRIEND. Isn’t she something? “Hey Girl, I thought it would be nice to bring you coffee. I hope this is hot enough for you.” YES RYAN. IT IS.

I am currently back from my Christmas break and have hit the books at school for what they call a “January Term”. This is a time when I sleep in until noon, do my online class for about and hour, sleep some more, eat some pretzels, watch some Netflix, and sleep until noon the next day. It’s not the worst thing ever.

I will try to find time in this CRAZY SCHEDULE to write every now and then.

Until then,

Olivia Lea.
